# The Spirit of a Thousand Flames

### CHAPTER I – THE FALLEN STAR

Long before blockchains existed, before humanity named the constellations, a brilliant emerald star crossed the night sky and shattered above an ancient forest.\
From within its glowing fragments emerged a mystical being — the **First Kitsune**, a celestial fox born from cosmic fire and pure ether.

The forest called it **Soulborne**, for its presence brought warmth to the land and awakened dormant life. Flowers bloomed in its footsteps, rivers shimmered with light, and animals gathered around it without fear.

But with the birth of Soulborne also came shadows.\
A dark force, known as **The Void Hunger**, rose from the depths of space, drawn by the energy released from the fallen star. Its goal: devour the Soul and plunge the world back into darkness.

And so the ancient war began — the war for the Soul Flame.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kitsune-soul.gitbook.io/kitsunesoul/kitsune-soul-official-lore/the-spirit-of-a-thousand-flames.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
